Formula 17

Formula 17

I’ve mentioned here in my blog that I love the movie Love of Siam right? Do you still remember your first love? Me I still do and it hurts so much. I wanted to commit suicide at that time. Well enough of my stories let’s go to Formula 17. This is so fun and so cool. I got a trivia for you guys this movie was banned in Singapore because it "portrayed homosexuality as normal, and a natural progression of society".

Even though it’s banned in Singapore I was able to get a copy from a good friend of mine. Although “Love of Siam” is romantic and touching, Formula 17 gives us the different faces of love. I thought   the movie was all about cars because of its title “formula 17” but it was all about the naive countryman Chou T'ien-Tsai who went to Taipei to meet his chat mate how odd is that……

Yes he went to Taipei just to meet his chat mate who happened to be very handsome. His chat mate wanted to have sex with him but since he believes in True love he rejected the guy and went to his friend’s bar. I forgot to mention Chou T'ien-Tsai is holding the book called “Love is a Kind Of Faith”.

He was looking for his long lost classmate Yu. While he was drinking soda he saw the man of his dreams. The man that would break his hearts into pieces, he met bai at the bar. Bai who happened to be the number one playboy in that bar suddenly made an instant connection with T’ien. T’ien looks at him as if it was his last day on earth.
Bai had no intension of hurting T’ien’s feelings……… Bai is scared of “LOVE”

ABS-CBN will air "Love of Siam"

ABS-CBN will air "Love of Siam"

Rumor has it that the blockbuster movie of Mario Maurer and Witwisit Hiranyawongkul “Love of Siam” will air on Abs-Cbn but this time it will be tagalized. So excited, I’ve seen the movie a couple of times but I’m dying to see it one more time.
If “Crazy little thing called love” is very touching, “Love of Siam” will surely make you cry and make you realized how important love is.

I hope the tagalized version is good. Actually Witwisit Hiranyawongkul or Mew did a great job in this movie, with his beautiful voice and acting skills, girls will surely fall in love over and over again. Mario Maurer or Tong is very handsome and very versatile as an actor.
They had a kissing scene in the movie but I think you can’t see it in the tagalized version because maybe abs-cbn will cut that scene.

The Bangkok Love Story

Source : http://www.moviexclusive.com/review/bangkoklovestory/bangkoklovestory.htm

Bangkok Love Story
There are lots of Gay movies in Thailand and one of them is “Bangkok Love Story”. Watching Bangkok love story makes me realize that life is not forever. We have to face death and sometimes we have to endure hearts aches.

Bangkok Love Story was able to flaunt the Bisexuals life.  I hate to use the word Races but there   are many people who’s like that.  In this film the director was able to enlighten some people for their cruelty and mistreatment.  AIDS is a very serious disease but it’s not that easy to acquire. You have to have a physical contact with an AIDS victim.

In this film “Bangkok Love Story” you can see how people react about the disease AIDS. The film wants us to be open minded and that we should learn how to deal with the disease.  “Bangkok Love Story” is a heartwarming drama and action movie.  You can see in the movie how two men show their love in different way.
I salute director Poj Arnon for a job well done. He was able to create a character that would fit for Rattaballung Tohssawat and Chaiwat Tongsang. These two talented young men are straight. If I say straight it means they’re not gay. But they were able to blend with the character and even give us hopes and dreams, that gays or bisexuals can really find true love in different ways.

Loving is something that you should earn. It’s not automatic it takes time, it takes effort and it takes love to succeed. I admired Sai’s bravery in the movie. He was able to show his versatility in the movie. Sia’s love for Maek is incredible; he waited for years and gambles his personal life.

Love of Siam

Love of Siam

Love of Siam is one of the best Thai movies that I’ve ever seen.   While I was watching this movie I was kind of depress in a way because my visa application for Canada was been denied by the Canadian Embassy. So I bought KFC value meal, a French fries and a large drink. I can’t help myself but wonder what happened to my application.

While I was eating, I saw this Love of Siam DVD that I borrowed from a very good friend of mine. He told me that it was a nice movie. A little bit hesitant to watch the movie. I opened the TV and plug on the DVD player.

I watch this movie for more than 2 hours I think, not sure of the time. I was crying specially on the part that mew was confronted by Tong’s mother. It was so touching, I felt sad. Reality hurts; I was so in love by the movie. Tong love Mew so much. But he had to let go of   Mew because he has his own problem too.

Mew was so handsome and with his Golden voice tong was mesmerize while he was singing.  I love the part while Mew was singing in front of the guest on tang’s party. I so love the song that mew sung at the party. Tong stared at him, tang notice it. For a while it seems that the world revolves to Tong and Mew. Mew was teasing Tong and then looks back at him. After the party, tong and mew had a personal conversation. While they were talking tong grabs mew’s head and gently put it on tong’s shoulder. Oh! My God! And guess what happened they kissed.
