Formula 17
I’ve mentioned here in my blog that I love the movie Love of Siam right? Do you still remember your first love? Me I still do and it hurts so much. I wanted to commit suicide at that time. Well enough of my stories let’s go to Formula 17. This is so fun and so cool. I got a trivia for you guys this movie was banned in Singapore because it "portrayed homosexuality as normal, and a natural progression of society".
Even though it’s banned in Singapore I was able to get a copy from a good friend of mine. Although “Love of Siam” is romantic and touching, Formula 17 gives us the different faces of love. I thought the movie was all about cars because of its title “formula 17” but it was all about the naive countryman Chou T'ien-Tsai who went to Taipei to meet his chat mate how odd is that……
Yes he went to Taipei just to meet his chat mate who happened to be very handsome. His chat mate wanted to have sex with him but since he believes in True love he rejected the guy and went to his friend’s bar. I forgot to mention Chou T'ien-Tsai is holding the book called “Love is a Kind Of Faith”.
He was looking for his long lost classmate Yu. While he was drinking soda he saw the man of his dreams. The man that would break his hearts into pieces, he met bai at the bar. Bai who happened to be the number one playboy in that bar suddenly made an instant connection with T’ien. T’ien looks at him as if it was his last day on earth.
Bai had no intension of hurting T’ien’s feelings……… Bai is scared of “LOVE”
