iPhone 5 to be CDMA-GSM 'world phone'?

In what could be a big come-on for jetsetters, Apple Inc.'s iPhone 5 may be a "world phone" that supports both CDMA and GSM networks, a tech site reported Wednesday (Manila time).
TechCrunch cited a developer of a popular app who said their logs showed a "tiny number of people" registered for one of their applications with a dual-mode phone.
"According to this person (and app usage logs) ... a tiny number of people have recently registered for one of their applications from a single, brand new Apple device that is decidedly dual-mode – meaning it supports both CDMA and GSM," it said.
With a dual-mode iPhone 5, TechCrunch said users can now roam between both networks effortlessly.
Rumors had indicated the iPhone 5 will be globally released in the third quarter of 2011, timed with the release of iOS 5, Apple’s mobile operating system.
"An Apple-made ‘world phone’ would be great news for consumers, especially those in countries where certain carriers use CDMA (the U.S., India, Japan, Argentina, and more). Travelling abroad with a phone that only supports CDMA, in particular, is a major pain...," it added.
It said the logs also show the app has been briefly tested by a handful of people using a device running iOS 5, and sporting two distinct sets of mobile network codes (MNC) and mobile country codes (MCC).
The MNC and MCC are codes that can be used to uniquely identify mobile carriers.
"Sure enough, some registrations for the app – which the developer also asked not to be named – were logged from a new Apple device, using the MNC/MCC codes from both Verizon and AT&T," it noted.
TechCrunch said that while the first iPhone was a GSM phone released exclusively on AT&T in 2007, a CDMA version of the iPhone 4 debuted in 2010.
"Now that Apple is catering to both carriers (and their respective networks), it makes all the sense in the world for the company to combine support for both CDMA and GSM in a single device, turning it into a ‘world phone’ or a ‘global phone’ as the cool kids would say," it said.
Possible test unit?
However, a separate article in PC World said it is possible the unknown device running iOS 5 may be a test unit Apple's engineers are using to try out the two cellular networks.
Yet, it said this was not the first time hints have surfaced suggesting the next iPhone would be a world phone.
"Rumors that the iPhone 5 might be a dual-mode phone picked up steam in February after teardowns of the Verizon iPhone discovered the device had a dual-mode GSM/CDMA chip," it added. — TJD, GMA News

Apple planning early 2012 launch for new iPad: WSJ

Apple plans to begin trial production of a next generation iPad in October with an eye to an early 2012 launch, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday.
The newspaper, citing "people familiar with the situation," said Apple is working with component suppliers and its assembler in Asia on the iPad 3 and has ordered key components such as display panels and chips.
It said the next generation iPad is expected to feature a high resolution 2048-by-1536 pixel display compared with the 1024-by-768 display on the iPad 2.
The Journal quoted one unidentified component supplier to Apple as saying that the company has placed orders for parts for about 1.5 million iPad 3s in the fourth quarter.
Apple sources parts for the iPad around Asia and assembles the tablet computer at Taiwan's Hon Hai Precision Industry Co.
Apple sold 9.25 million iPads last quarter.

White iPhone finally goes on sale

The long-awaited white model of the iPhone 4 is finally available, nearly a year behind schedule.
Apple said Wednesday that white iPhone 4s can be bought through Apple's online store starting Thursday or at Apple stores and authorized retailers.
Apple planned to begin selling the white iPhone along with the black model in June of last year but its release was repeatedly delayed by manufacturing challenges in a rare setback for the California gadget-maker.
"The white iPhone 4 has finally arrived and it's beautiful," Apple's senior vice president of worldwide product marketing Philip Schiller said Wednesday.
"We appreciate everyone who has waited patiently while we've worked to get every detail right," Schiller said in a statement.
Apple said the white iPhone 4 will be available on Thursday in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Britain, Canada, China, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States.
Apple sold 18.65 million iPhones last quarter, up 113 percent over a year ago.

Apple sues Samsung over Galaxy phones, tablets

SAN FRANCISCO/SEOUL (Reuters)- Apple Inc has sued rival Samsung Electronics claiming that the South Korean firm's Galaxy line of mobile phones and tablets "slavishly" copies the iPhone and iPad, according to court papers.
Samsung is one of the fastest growing smartphone makers and has also emerged as Apple's strongest competitor in the booming tablet market with models in three sizes, although it remains a distant second in the space.
Its Galaxy products use Google Inc's Android operating system, which directly competes with Apple's mobile software, the lawsuit said. However, Apple's claims against Samsung focus on Galaxy's design features, such as the look of its screen icons.
John Jackson, an analyst with CCS Insight, said Samsung is essentially Apple's only real tablet competitor at this stage.
"It's clear that they do not intend to let Apple run away with the category," Jackson said.
The lawsuit, filed on Friday, alleges Samsung violated Apple's patents and trademarks.
"This kind of blatant copying is wrong," Apple spokeswoman Kristin Huguet said in a statement.
Samsung said in a statement on Tuesday that it would respond to the legal action "through appropriate legal measures to protect our intellectual property."
"Samsung's development of core technologies and strengthening our intellectual property portfolio are keys to our continued success," it said.
To better compete with Apple, Samsung redesigned within weeks its new 10.1-inch tablet, first introduced in February, to make it the thinnest in the category after Apple set the trend with its iPad 2.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs has criticised Samsung and other rivals in presentations of new products or technology debates. Analysts say the response by Samsung to this has been muted, partly because Apple was Samsung's second-biggest customer last year after Japan's Sony.
Apple brought in around 6.2 trillion won ($5.7 billion) of sales to Samsung in 2010 mainly by purchasing semiconductors, according to Samsung's annual report.
Samsung shares slipped about 1 percent in early Tuesday trade to their lowest level in one month, underperforming a 0.5 percent fall in the broader market. At 8:40 p.m. EDT, Samsung shares were down 0.7 percent at 861,000 won.
WEB OF LITIGATION
Apple is one participant in a web of litigation among phone makers and software firms over who owns the patents used in smartphones. For instance, Nokia has sued Apple, which in turn has sued handset maker HTC Corp.
U.S. International Trade Commission staff, at a hearing on Monday, recommended that HTC and Nokia shouldn't be found liable for infringing Apple's patents relating to smartphones, Bloomberg reported.
ITC staff act on behalf of the public and its recommendations are not binding.
In its lawsuit against Samsung, Apple noted that earlier versions of Samsung smart phones did not embody the same combination of Apple's designs.
"Even the icons in earlier versions of the Samsung smart phones looked different because they had a variety of shapes -- and did not appear as a field of square icons with rounded corners," the lawsuit said.
Apple is bringing 16 claims against Samsung, including unjust enrichment, trademark infringement and 10 patent claims.
The case in U.S. District Court, Northern District of California is Apple Inc. v. Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. et al, 11-1846.

Need to know - Nintendo 3DS

1. Glasses-free 3D screen

The 3DS features an auto-stereoscopic top screen (the bottom screen is regular 2D), which ultimately means you won't need to wear 3D glasses to get the 3D effect. This can be turned off for gaming in 2D, or adjusted to somewhere in between using the toggle switch on the right hand side.

2. New controls

Alongside the regular DS D-pad and A,B, X and Y buttons, the 3DS adds an analogue 'slide pad' that allows for more intricate 360-degree control. It also comes packing an accelerometer and gyroscope for motion and augmented reality gaming.

3. More powerful, better visuals

There's no doubt that the 3DS is more powerful than any DS to date - in fact, rumour has it that the new CPU and GPU it has under the hood make it more powerful than the Wii, bringing it closer to HD consoles like the Xbox 360 and PS3. The result of this is much improved visuals compared to those on the DS Lite or DSi.
As for the screens themselves - they're better too. The top screen is the largest (apart from the XL) at 3.5 inches with a bright 400 x 240 resolution (per eye in 3D mode). The bottom touchscreen is smaller at 3 inches with 320 x 240 resolution - previous DS screen resolutions have been 256 x 192px.

4. 3D camera

The 3DS has a total of three cameras - two on the front of the handheld, which act as a 3D camera, and one inside. The 3D camera allows you to capture your own 3D snaps, while the front-facing webcam can take video and stills. Nintendo has said 3D video is coming to the handheld via a system update, though.
Wii avatars, called Miis, can be created on the handheld for the first time in the DS family. Even better, they can be created using the 3DS's cameras. Take a picture of yourself or a friend, and the software will create a Mii likeness, which you can then tweak to your preference.

5. SpotPass

Nintendo is trying to get us socialising with two new features. The first of those is SpotPass.
Unlike previous DS handhelds, the Nintendo 3DS will - if you allow it - always be connected to the internet, and will now be able to connect to both WEP and WPA networks out of the box. Not just that, but Nintendo has also partnered with BT Fon so your 3DS will be able to access wi-fi connections when you're out and about, for free. This means you'll be able to receive exclusive content, such as demos and trailers, from Nintendo, system updates and patches on the fly.

6. Street Pass

The second feature is StreetPass, which will allow you to wirelessly communicate and exchange information with other 3DS users in your vicinity - even when in sleep mode. This includes everything from automatically collecting other people's Miis so you can see who you've passed in the street that day, to playing games - sometimes without even realising.
Some of these are built-in mini games, such as StreetPass Quest that sees you using the Miis you collect to battle against a whole host of bad guys who have taken you prisoner. Meeting the same people over again will boost their Mii power in these battles.

Full games can also have more involved StreetPass functionality, such as Street Fighter 4. The game lets you set up a fighting team of five characters that will automatically take on opponents you pass (who also own the game and have set up their team). You can tweak their attack, defence and speed stats - and if you top your unknowing competitor, you'll win a collectable figurine, with 245 to collect.
Both features can be turned off, or controlled by parental lock.

7. Games

The handheld also comes with a couple of built-in mini-games, but they won't keep you entertained for long.
For really getting stuck into 3D gaming, a total of thirteen games will be available on the launch day. These include Nintendogs + Cats, Super Street Fighter IV 3D, Super Monkey Ball 3D, Rayman 3D, Asphalt 3D, LEGO Star Wars II: The Clone Wars, Pilotwings Resort and PES 2011 3D. This will be followed by another 12 games before the E3 games conference in June.
Nintendo also announced that there would be a 3DS version of Virtual Console, more often seen on the Wii, which will offer buyable, downloadable Game Boy and Game Boy Colour games, as well as Game Gear titles and 3D versions of other Nintendo classics.
Still got loads of regular DS games? The 3DS is completely backwards compatible, but only in 2D.

8. Health risks?

Nintendo has publicly stated that the 3D mode of the 3DS shouldn't be used by children aged six and under, as it may be harmful to the development of their vision. There is a parental control complete with PIN that allows parents to disable the autostereoscopic effects, although the American Optometric Association has assured parents that 3D gaming in moderation would have no harmful effects.

9. Price

When the Nintendo 3DS was launched, it hit retailers pre-order lists at around £229 - pretty pricey. Since then, the price war has begun, meaning the handheld is now available for under £200. Amazon currently have it for sale for £187 - expect prices to fall further after launch day.

10. The future

The 3DS is also capable of 3D movie playback, and deals have been done with Warner Bros, Disney and DreamWorks to deliver 3D movies for the 3DS - once again, without the need for glasses. Nintendo itself will also offer a short-form video service that brings 3D video content, from comedy to music, direct to the handheld - including 3D episodes of Shaun the Sheep specifically for the European market.
Nintendo of Europe has also announced they will be partnering with EuroSport and Sky 3D to deliver sports and documentary content to the 3DS later in 2011.

Sony unveils NGP handheld to take on DS, smartphones

TOKYO (Reuters) - Sony Corp showcased a new handheld gaming device, the first to feature 3G wireless connectivity, as it battles with Nintendo's best-selling DS and tries to fend off rising competition from smartphones and tablets.
Sony said the new device, which it has codenamed "NGP" for Next Generation Portable, will go on sale around the year-end. It didn't provide any pricing details.
The announcement came the same day Nintendo reported a 46.5 percent fall in quarterly profit as sales of its aging DS device tumbled ahead of the launch next month of a 3D capable model.
Sony's new device will feature 3G wireless connectivity, the first in a portable games device, and use a 5-inch OLED panel, the company said. That compares with 3.5 inches for a standard smartphone screen.
The device also has a back touch pad in addition to the front touch panel and a motion sensor for more intuitive use, Sony said.
With smartphones and tablets from the likes of Apple Inc eating into the market for portable gaming devices, Sony and Nintendo desperately need a blockbuster product to boost sales and profit.
"The key would be pricing of the device," said Nobuo Kurahashi, an analyst at Mizuho Investors Securities. "If the company prices it cheaper than Nintendo's 3DS (25,000 yen), it would be positive."
Nintendo's DS sold nearly 136 million units up to last September. Sony's PSP has sold some 61 million.
Next week, Sony is expected to post a fall in profits for October-December, hit by its struggling TV business.

Examining Sony's 'Next Generation Portable

MANILA, Philippines – On Thursday, Sony Corp. announced the future release of a new portable gaming device.

Calling it the Next Generation Portable, or NGP, for short, the PSP look-alike is boasting that its the  first-ever 3G-enabled gaming device.

Other things to keep you interested? The user interface is purportedly very similar to the iPhone so expectations would be high as to its user-friendliness.

Its controllers are nothing to sneeze at either; the company claims it’s another first for portable devices, dual analog control sticks. It also features touch sensitive controls on both the front and the back.

Making it even more exciting are the additions of front and rear cameras, motion sensors, social gaming capabilities and the ability to play location-based games. It is also compatible with the PlayStation 3.

But wait. There’s more.

To back up claims that the NGP will be powered by the most advanced, most powerful processors

available on the market, Sony revealed on Friday that it will have two quad-core processors.

Tech-savvy?

…there will be a quad-core ARM Cortex A9 processor inside, and sharing the graphics duties alongside that will be a quad-core Power VR SGX534MP4+ GPU.

Add that to the 5-inch OLED display and the other features and you’ve got yourself a gamers’ dream.

Now, if they could only do something about that name.

Apple breaks 1 million app download mark on Mac App Store

Mac App Store in just its first day. This is pretty amazing, considering there are just slightly more than a thousand free and paid apps to choose from, so it goes to show just what kind of strength of depth that Apple has with their customers and loyalists. According to Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, “We’re amazed at the incredible response the Mac App Store is getting. Developers have done a great job bringing apps to the store and users are loving how easy and fun the Mac App Store is.” Apps in various categories such as Education, Games, Graphics & Design, Lifestyle, Productivity, and Utilities are available, alongside a user ratings and review system to help you make a more informed and educated decision before purchase. Have you tried out the Mac App Store yet, and do you have any comments on it?

Satarii Star has its eye on you

Do you use your iPhone often for Facetime? Well, if you’re one of the select few who does so, then you might want to check out what the Satarii Star is capable of doing. This unique device will definitely need your iPhone to remain docked within, where it can swivel around to track your movement. To make things more flexible, it allows you to dock your iPhone in either portrait or landscape mode, literally allowing you to position it where you want it. As for the second part of this setup, it comprises of a small tracking device that allows you to clip onto the subject. The tracking device will communicate with the base within a 25 foot radius, where the base can rotate up to 180 degress, aiming at the tracker always. No idea on when it will be released commercially and for how much, since this is still part of an in-development project from a team of California-based designers.

Robot English Teachers Provide High Quality Education

On December 27, 2010 robot teachers began taking classes at elementary schools in Daegu. The egg-shaped robots are called ‘Engkeys’ and they were developed by scientists at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST)한국과학기술연구원 in an attempt to provide high quality English education to Korean students, who are known as some of the world’s most ardent English learners.

It may look like a scene from a sci-fi movie, but it’s real; KIST sent 29 robot teachers to 21 elementary schools in the southeastern city last Monday. The special four-month pilot education program is being sponsored by the government. A total of 1.58 billion won was invested in the project to provide high quality English education to Korea’s children and to nurture the nation’s stagnant robotics industry.

The Engkeys, which cost 10 million won each, are about one meter high and have TV display panels for their heads which show the face of a Caucasian woman. The robots are controlled by English teachers in the Philippines who can see and hear the children via a remote control system. The Filipino teachers can also reflect their facial expressions onto the robot’s face because cameras can detect their facial movements.

“We decided to use well-educated, experienced Filipino teachers since they are a lot cheaper than Western English teachers,” said Sagong Seong-Dae, a senior scientist at KIST. “The robot teachers have many great features for providing high quality education to the students; they can move around the classroom freely while talking or reading to the students since they have wheels. They can even dance to music by moving their body parts. They can also sing songs and play alphabet games with the children,” he explained.

The robot teachers are expected to reignite Korea’s robotics industry while also helping students to learn English in more interesting and effective ways. “The robots are still in the experimental stage, but they will largely back up human teachers and eventually have bigger roles,” Sagong stressed. “They may also be sent to remote rural areas where students don’t have an opportunity to learn from foreign English teachers.”

While the robot teachers won’t replace human teachers, they could be an efficient tool for improving the language skills of people who feel nervous about having conversations with foreigners. Many schools nationwide are considering hiring these robots on a full time basis if the scientists are able to upgrade them, make them easier to handle and more affordable. According to schools, the machines have many benefits compared to foreign teachers as they only need to be repaired and upgraded every once in a while. If the robot English teachers turn out to be beneficial, the Korean government plans to develop more robots to teach other subjects, including math and science at different levels.

Hands on with the Droid X, plus an important lesson learned at CES 2011

Today I am doing something for the very first time as I am doing my first post on the road here at CES. Right now, I am in a slow moving line, waiting for a bus to bring me to the Las Vegas Convention Center. My brand new Droid X is giving me access to this blog, but I cannot see what I am typing as I go.
After I typed the first paragraph, I lost track of the words as the keyboard took up most of the screen, and never could successfully get back to them. This is sadly a failed experiement. Right now, I am continuing this blog at a party at the Venetian sponsored by Lenovo on one of their desktops.
Granted, I will have to say that the Droid X is a terrific smartphone. I don’t know if there is any saying about “once you go Droid”, but there really should be. I enjoy the all the features including the Android Market, and, as you may have guessed, I am addicted to Angry Birds. I also find the 8.0 Megapixel camera to be quite good, and it is easy to transfer the files from the included 16GB SD to my computer as the Droid X charges via USB.
I wanted this report to be written on my smartphone to celebrate my Droid X, but I am a little disappointed that I can’t do the work that I normally do on a laptop from my smartphone. However, smartphones just aren’t made for surfing the web like we do on our desktops or laptops. Someone I was riding the bus with told me that our mobile devices are made for consumption, and not creation.
This would be the best lesson I learned at CES 2011. With this being the first year of the iPad, mobile companies need to find out better ways for people to be productive on the road. Perhaps this will be what we will have by CES 2012 with all the tablets that were unveiled over this year’s convention.

Parrot Digital Photoframe – NOW you actually want one

Okay so let’s face it, a digital frame, is a digital frame, is a digital frame, and as you get your 3rd one, as a gift from your soon to be ex-boyfriend, you wonder why the screensaver slideshow on your computer wasn’t already good enough to put some of these guys out of business, but you smile, and put on your “oh I love it” face anyway…
Well, fresh from CES, Parrot just unveiled the DIA, the first digital photo frame that you really will be happy to receive. The DIA is less like an old digital frame and more like a movie screen that has a picture projected upon it.
The DIA’s LCD display is separate from it’s backlight, which gives your favorite photos a beautiful, designer friendly, transparent effect, very different from the digital frames of, well, just yesterday.
The frame itself is fairly plain, with its controls on the top and the SD card slot and USB ports on the side. Photos are added by USB, SD or alternatively, you can send photos to the frame wirelessly via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
DIA playfully provides some additional functionality by adding a few bells and whistles not seen before, with an unusual selection of preinstalled apps. Or you can consult the Frame Channel, and select your own apps. So, see your favorite pictures, check the news and weather, check the financial channel, Facebook, or just send pics directly to the frame with your iPhone. Yup, theres an app for that too.
The Parrot DIA probably wont be available until February, and we don’t know for how much, but something tells me I won’t be stacking 5 of them in my closet for next Christmas.

Ultra-fast 4G smartphones coming soon

LG Electronics’ new Android smartphone the Revolution, left, which will be released in the United States soon through Verizon Wireless, is marketed as the company’s first 4G handset. Samsung Electronics will also provide a 4G smartphone to Verizon, although the device has yet to be named. / Korea Times
By Kim Tong-hyung

LAS VEGAS — Ultra-fast 4G is coming soon, enabling you to eventually gain access to cyberspace 10 times faster than the current 3G platform. Just imagine the ramifications and allow yourself to get excited, because it is opening up a whole new world of possibilities.

Here in Las Vegas, this paradigm shift is being witnessed first, signifying that the next-generation battle is on for mobile broadband, and much of the ammunition is coming from Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics.

The Korean technology giants are fighting for the limelight in a contest for Long Term Evolution (LTE) smartphones at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which started its official schedule Thursday in Las Vegas (local time).

LTE is quickly becoming the technology of choice for fourth-generation (4G) networks, which are equipped for theoretical speeds of 100 megabits per second in downlinks, as much as 10 times quicker than conventional 3G networks.

In demonstrating the hardware touted to succeed the current 3G offerings, technology companies are hoping to exploit consumers’ insatiable craving for faster connections in the midst of a mobile computing evolution.

Obviously, a key market for these ultra-fast phones will be the Untied States, where Verizon Wireless, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile have been marketing their LTE, WiMAX and HSPA+ services as 4G.

“We are still in the beginning stages (for 4G), but we think this will be a paradigm shift,” Verizon President and Chief Operating Officer Lowell McAdam said in a presentation at the CES. Verizon launched its LTE network in 38 major U.S. markets last month, and AT&T is preparing an LTE network as well. The first commercial LTE networks in Korea are expected to debut around 2012.

“We sent a signal to the entire consumer electronics industry that this market would develop very quickly. In 2011, that vision becomes a reality,” McAdam said.

LG Electronics in recent years had emerged as the world’s third-largest handset vendor, but has been struggling to expand at the same rate in the more profitable smartphone market. So the company has been showing a sense of urgency to get out of the gate early in 4G handsets, and it remains to be seen whether the Revolution, an LTE smartphone to soon be released by Verizon, will prove to be a legitimate attempt.

The Revolution is powered by LG’s own L2000 LTE chipset, and the speed of the processor and Verizon’s network is enough for users to download high-definition videos on the move, LG officials said.

The smartphone features a 4.3-inch screen, runs on a version of Google’s Android mobile operating system, has a five megapixel camera on the back and a front-facing camera for mobile video chatting, and an HDMI port.

The Revolution was one of the slew of LTE smarpthones and tablet computers on display by Verizon at the CES Thursday. The list included the much-anticipated HTC Thunderbolt, Motorola’s Xoom tablet, and a new LTE smartphone from Samsung as well as the 4G version of its Galaxy Tab.

LG had previously introduced LTE data cards for AT&T and Verizon Wireless. Verizon’s LTE network provides download speeds of up to 50 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 20 Mbps.

“LG can lead with its LTE technology. We have already been providing LTE data cards and dongles for wireless carriers, and now we can provide them with handsets,” said Park Jong-seok, the head of LG’s mobile communications division.

Samsung’s still-unnamed LTE device for Verizon looks essentially like the 4G version of its Galaxy-style Android phones. The smartphone runs on Android 2.2, as does the LG Revolution, features a 4.3-inch “super” active matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) “plus” display with enhanced picture density, and a dual camera. The handset can also double as a wireless hotspot, as could HTC’s rival product, the Thunderbolt.

Samsung has managed to sell more than 1.5 million of its Galaxy Tab touch-screen computers, which were the only models that have managed to offer competition to the Apple iPads, and the company hopes to strengthen momentum through the LTE version of its tablet.

The Galaxy Tab will be one of two 4G tablets on Verizon’s network — the other being the Xoom. The gadget runs on Android 2.2, features a 7-inch display, compared to the 10-inch screens of the Xoom and iPad, a 500-megapixel camera, and supports flash.

Samsung also unveiled an LTE mobile hotspot capable of connecting up to five devices at once.

“Samsung is the only company that could provide a total solution in LTE handsets, systems and standard technologies. We fully expect to put ourselves in the driver’s seat,” said Shin Jong-kyun, the head of Samsung’s mobile business division.

My Precious iPod 2 gen 8gb

I bought this I Pod touch 2nd Generation a week ago. I bought it as a Christmas gift for myself. I’m very happy about the features of i Pod. But there’s a big problem, although I like it but there were times that I hate it. Especially when uploading new applications and songs because every time I uploaded new songs and new videos. It automatically replace everything and with a new one.

I think this iPod touch is a bit selfish hehehehehe. Why? Because you can only use Bluetooth to iPod users only and sometimes it takes time to use Bluetooth. The sad thing is you can’t upgrade your memory. So if you were using iPod 2 generation 8 gb like me and you want to save lots of videos. You have to purchase a new one because the memory is not expandable.

Believe it or not I like my iPod it’s very useful especially in my nursing board exam and very fashionable. The quality is good.
