Adam Lambert Leaves American Idol's 19 Management

Adam Lambert is leaving the nest.
The American Idol alum is leaving the reality show's 19 Entertainment management company and going on to Direct Management Group, who also manages Katy Perry.
Adam isn't the first to leave 19 - winners Kelly Clarkson and Fantasia have also moved on to other management companies.
Ties will not be completely broken though as 19 will still pocket the royalties from his five RCA Records releases, including a live and remix alum, as well as merchandise.
He will remain a 19 Records artist though. A rep says:

"Adam remains signed to 19 Recordings as he brings a new management team into his career. We look forward to continued success together."

The label did make him famous after all!
But it's time to move on. We do wish you luck on your future endeavors, Adam.
